Choosing cleaning products, tools and equipment from a single supplier can improve performance and save money.

Simplify Processes & Reduce Costs By Choosing A Single Cleaning Partner

One of the biggest challenges facing cleaning contractors is how to deliver an increasing array of services to higher levels of performance and consistency while under continual pressure to reduce costs. One solution is to make cleaning processes as simple as possible and this can be achieved by working with fewer suppliers and selecting products that are designed to work together. Diversey Care supports this approach with its integrated set of products, equipment and services which offer superior performance and sustainability.

As one of the three divisions of Sealed Air, and a new identity revealed recently, Diversey Care is a global supplier of sustainable cleaning, sanitation and hygiene solutions. As part of an organisation with almost £8 billion in sales and 25,000 people working in 175 countries, the business is uniquely positioned to offer support at local, regional and global level to cleaning contractors of all sizes. Contract cleaning is Diversey Care’s largest sector in Europe where it represents almost one third of sales. This position has been established through a commitment to long-term relationships that help contract cleaners achieve the excellence and value for money demanded by the market.

Diversey Care has the unique capability to offer integrated solutions based around any combination of its products, machines, equipment, support services and technical expertise. Extensive research and development ensures all products are designed to work with each other so that cleaning teams can consistently achieve optimum results and sustainability across their contracts.

For example, its advanced range of TASKI scrubber driers can be used with any of its floor care products and pads to provide operators with complete flexibility to specify the combination ideally matched to the size and type of floor to deliver superior results quickly, efficiently and with reduced costs. Similarly, its ultra microfibre ranges can be used with or without chemicals, supporting complete flexibility when cleaning hard surfaces across a wide range of applications and sectors.

Industry-standard colour co-ordination of products with consistent labelling and packaging helps to promote familiarity amongst users so that training is simpler and implementation costs are lower. Innovations in product formulation also support simpler and more efficient cleaning processes. The new TASKI Sani 4in1 washroom cleaner and the TASKI Pur –Eco Sprint 200 building care products are both multipurpose formulations designed to replace four or more separate products. This not only simplifies processes but also reduces the number of products required to support routine and daily cleaning tasks. Like many Diversey Care products these are available as super concentrates to promote the highest levels of sustainability, with fewer chemical miles and reduced amounts of packaging.

There are other benefits from choosing an integrated set of products from a specialist supplier. Supply chains are less complex and costly because items are sourced from one supplier instead of many. With its international presence, Diversey Care is also able to supply products with consistent multilingual labelling and documentation to support members of diverse contract cleaning teams in their first language.

Cleaning contractors are always striving to reduce costs and improve productivity. Diversey Care adds-value by working with contract cleaners through its “Smart Savings” programme to review processes and identify opportunities for innovations and new ways of working that improve hygiene, reduce costs (especially by better productivity) and promote greater sustainability. A typical example of this would be to help a customer migrate from rotary floor care machines to the advanced performance of scrubber driers. Another is to replace inefficient wet-mopping with ergonomic microfibre systems. In each case customers can cover larger areas more quickly, reduce chemical consumption and achieve better and more consistent appearance and hygiene.
