100 FOOT ACCESS PLATFORM FROM CTE UK

The Bizzocchi KJF320, available from CTE UK, is a highly versatile telescopic access platform that can be used to work at heights of up to 32m (105ft) in a wide range of service, maintenance and engineering applications. Outreach of up to 21m, continuous 360o rotation and an extendable basket that can turn 90o to either side ensure the KJF320 provides convenient and easy access to external walls, windows, roofs and other high areas.

The basket has a maximum safe working load of 280kg, enough for two average people and 120kg of tools and equipment. It can extend up to 3.6m length to provide a generous working area and rotates 90o to either side for the best possible access to the workface. Electronic basket levelling, anti-slip aluminium deck and railings at up to 1.1m help to provide a safe and secure working area.

The three part telescopic boom has an additional jib boom that folds out up to 180o to provide the maximum working height of 32m. Deployed horizontally the boom can provide a maximum outreach of 20m at the full working load of 240kg or 21m with a reduced load of 120kg. Automatic load sensors prevent operation outside design limits.

All hydraulic services are designed for failsafe operation. During normal operations the access platform is controlled from the basket using simple controls. Proportional electro-hydraulic activation ensures all movements, including lift, outreach and rotation, are smooth and precise at all times. The platform can also be controlled from the ground, during emergencies for example, using a similar set of controls. In addition to the controls the basket includes a 230V electric power socket and can also be equipped with a water or compressed air socket.

The KJF320 is mounted on an 18 tonne Iveco commercial vehicle chassis which provides a solid platform for efficient operations. Four hydraulic stabilisers with ground sensors can be deployed in a number of configurations depending on the application and position of vehicle. Electronic sensors and an outreach limiting device ensure the platform cannot extend beyond its safe design parameters in any configuration of outrigger.
